UNUM's Visioning in Chattanooga

The River City Company, with funding from the Lyndhurst Foundation, is preparing a vision plan for strategic undeveloped parcels in downtown Chattanooga controlled by UNUM.  UNUM is a leading corporate citizen with headquarters in the downtown. 

With the assistance of Urban Design Associates, a design charrette was held in April 2014 to explore mixed-use development concepts with participation from UNUM, the downtown campus of University of Tennessee Chattanooga (UTC), the City, developers, and major stakeholders.  All are seeking ways to contribute to the continued revitalization of downtown Chattanooga with improvements to public space, new housing, and commercial development.
