Affordability and placemaking for a California Town
To address affordability and placemaking, UDA prepared a master plan and entitlements for a 7.5-acre mixed-use infill site in Santa Rosa, CA. Rather than approaching this as a 'project', the design of this new neighborhood includes 75 units of affordable housing, 100 units of workforce housing, a public library, a market hall, and a 1-acre public plaza.
